I currently am using CCSv3.3 on a Windows XP PC with a Spectrum Digital XDS510 USB emulator and a CommAgility AMC-3C87F3 card which contains 3 TCI6487 DSPs. This setup works correctly. On this same PC I installed the latest version of CCSv4. In CCSv4 I am using a target configuration file supplied by CommAgility. The CommAgility support man has confirmed another customer has successfully used this target configuration file. In CCSv4 I click on "launch target configuration" and everything proceeds normally. The Debug perspective opens and all 9 cores appear in the window and they are all Disconnected. At this point I can select the 3 ICEPICKs and connect them. But when I select a core and try to connect I get a "connect to PRSC failed" error. I suspect there is a conflict between the two versions of CCS, and/or the emulator is still using the CCSv3.3 drivers when I am trying to use CCSv4. I would appreciate any help.
