The above error message now appears since I updated my version of a large project to CCS 10, from CCS 7
Yes, this is yet another cryptic XML used when debugging. I can find very little detail on the XMLs. And I have never been able to edit it by hand or get it to behave the way I want using the Target Config editor.
So now the project is giving me four errors, where none existed before. (There are five such files, one of which refers to the XDS V2 debugger I use... The remaining are for debuggers other people on the project team use)
Apparently there are dozens and dozens of these XML files in folder
C:\ti\ccsv7\ccs_base\common\targetdb\connections
There are about half that many in the newer CCS 10
C:\ti\ccs1011\ccs\ccs_base\common\targetdb\connections
I have no idea how they go into the CCS7 directory, I have to assume they are part of the install package. Why they are NOT in the new CCS 10 directory remains a mystery. But I copied them over from CCS 7 to make the error go away.
Of course that didn't make the errors go away from the "Problems" window. I had to manually go in and delete those errors.
