CCS/TMS320F28335: Selecting .gel file when executing uniflash version 4 and above

We recently moved the load location of our binary from internal flash to a persistent external memory accessed over XINTFx16 (and adjusted boot mode pulls accordingly).

This requires a modification to our .gel file to uncomment XINTF_Enable() in the OnReset() function in CCS as well as Uniflash.

In the CCS case we can point to our version controlled .gel file in the .ccxml file, but how would we go about to point to another .gel file in uniflash?

Having to manually modify each uniflash installation is such an anti pattern

It is recommended to (via CCS) create a ccxml file that points to the new gel file. Then in UniFlash, use the option to use that ccxml file to create a new session.

This is definitely a step in the right direction, however it does not seem to support relative file paths?

Yes an absolute path would be needed in this case for best portability. However, I do not see another workaround besides this one.
