CCS/CC3200: Compiler installation - 5.2.8

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I get the following warning when compiling a project from a reimaged hard drive:

This project was created using a version of compiler that is not currently installed: 5.2.8 [ARM]. Another version of the compiler will be used during build: 15.12.3.LTS.

How can I get the 5.2.8 compiler to recreate the workspace I had?

-Go to: 'Help -> Install Code Generation Compiler Tools'

-Disable the first checkbox "Show only the latest versions of available software"

-select ARM Compiler 5.2.8 and press "Next" button to continue installation of the compiler

This video shows how to install older compilers:

That will show you the 5.2.9 version of the compiler which is compatible with 5.2.8. If you explicitly want 5.2.8 you can uncheck the box at the bottom that says "show only the latest version of software".
