I’m “suddenly” unable to use breakpoints in my CCSv4 (4.1.3.00038), receiving these errors:
C28xx: AutoRun: Target not run as breakpoint could not be set: Error programming AET Job: This task cannot be accomplished with the existing AET resources.
C28xx: AutoRun: Target not run as breakpoint could not be set: Error programming AET Job: Register write failed
I am not exceeding the limit of 2 hardware breakpoints – in this case, I am just trying to use 1 breakpoint. Nor have I recently upgraded any software. I haven’t knowingly changed anything in my workflow & have regularly used breakpoints as recently as the other day. Then today I tried & got these errors.
Also,
- I am using the XDS510USB Emulator.
- I can still single-step through the code
- I have not enabled any of the real-time modes in debugger options
