CCS/TIRSLK-EVM: MSP432 launchpad not connecting to PCs

When I plug in the USP and go to the device manager it does not show up.  I installed CCS on 3 different Win 10 pc's and connected the launchpad but it did not show up an any of the PC's in device manager.

When I plug in the USB cable the Red & blue LED's flash - so it is getting power.

I tried 3 different USB cables - no luck.

Any suggestions?

I had already looked at the trouble shooting link above.  the XDS110 does not show up in the Ports list of the Device Manager.  There is no Stellaris Device Firmware Upgrade showing in the Device Manager - so not sure how to Flash the Bootloader.

Do I need to send the launchpad back to the supplier for replacement?

Just to confirm, you tried re-installing the device drivers? Can you take a photo of your launchpad and post it here? I'd like to check the various jumper settings on the launchpad.

Thanks. The settings on the LaunchPad look good to me.

I am going to bring this thread to the attention of the MSP experts to see if they have any more suggestions to try.

1. I also think there is problem with MSP432 launchpad.

2. Do you have another launchpad? If yes, try it on the PC to see whether there is any connection shown. It will be more clear to show the launchpad exactly have problem.

I do not have another launch pad.

I installed Code Composer Studio on 3 different Win 10 PC's - laptop, desktop and Surface Pro 7.  None of these machines showed the launchpad in the Device Manager when connected with USB cable.

I tried different USB cables, rebooted each machine and reinstalled CCS.

Any other suggestions or do I need to return the launchpad to the supplier for a replacement?

See from the picture, the LED on the XDS110 side is not light. For a good one, it should not happen.

I advice you to return the launchpad to the supplier for a replacement
