CCS: How to create a C++ project? Is there a template?

Hello forum.

I would like to create a C++ project but I can't make CCS create main.cpp file with a C++ template. How can I do that?

There is no C++ project template for CCS projects. There are C++ build options available under Language Options in the build options for the project. By default .cpp files are treated as C++ source.

So every time I want to open a new project I need to modify main.c to main.cpp and adjust the Language Options. That's sad.

You only need to adjust the language settings if you want something other than the defaults.

But yes you would need to change main.c to main.cpp.
