Dear all,

I have some problem about the IWR6843AOPEVM in Vital Signal Detect application

1. How can I use a hardware accelerator(HWA) in the Vital Signal Detect project? It needs to add the code about the HWA from the IWR1443 project?

2. In this project, when using the EDMA can't accelerate the processing speed, because the blocking mode is used in EDMA? So EDMA isn't suitable for vital signal detect?

3. In the configuration of the GUI has the parameter Rx-Antenna to Process, its range is 1-4 right? If I set the different value higher the processing speed can't be faster, why?

4. Can I monitor the memory data which is occurring (L1、2、3) in real-time?

5. Why the Vital Signal Project must be connect to the CCS when it 's executing? Can I execute that without the CCS connect? (if I don't need the GUI)

    Hi Scott

    The code from the IWR1443 project can be used as a template for HWA processing but it uses a different version of the mmWave-SDK so this will need to be considered.

    The Vital Signs lab does not need to be connected to CCSTUDIO, only for running the lab in debug mode. One can run the lab in deployment mode by flashing the binary image on to the device, please see the Vital Signs User Guide for more details.
