problems of migrating

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

I am trying to migrate a project Flash LEDs from CCS 3.3 to CCS 4.

When building the FlashingLEDs example code a, I get the following error messages in the console during the build.

C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4\utils\gmake\gmake: *** No rule to make target `DSP2802x_CodeStartBranch.obj', needed by `TE-TMS320F28027.out'.
C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4\utils\gmake\gmake: *** No rule to make target `DSP2802x_GlobalVariableDefs.obj', needed by `TE-TMS320F28027.out'.

Help me fo solve this problem, please!   Thanks in advance!

  • Could you copy the full output in the build console, paste it to a text file and attach it here so we can see if there were any other errors reported in the build?

Do you have ControlSuite installed to access the support and header files?

There is a related post here with a similar error which you may want to take a look at to see if those suggestions help resolve the issue.
