DRA71X: Can NOT get PRAUTO, exception timed out

Hello,

I am trying to execute ./build-core-sdk.sh dra7xx-evm on my Ubuntu 14.04 with the SDK ti-processor-sdk-linux-automotive-dra7xx-evm-6.00.00.03.

I am getting below error after 5% of bitbake execution.

Hello Karthik,

Request you help me on this issue as other issues are not merely blockers.

This is a blocker and this error is occurring at multiple stages of the build

Hi Prasad,

All 3 issues are related, I will try to replicate this over the weekend on a Ubuntu 14.04 fresh installation and we will review.

We have tried this several times in the past, I will give it a fresh try now.

Hi Prasad,

I wasn't able to get hold of a Ubuntu 14.04 machine. The good news is that I could fully replicate the build from scratch on a Ubuntu 18.04.

Here are the build steps starting with the SDK installation.

mkdir 6.00
wget software-dl.ti.com/.../ti-processor-sdk-linux-automotive-dra7xx-evm-6.00.00.03-installer.bin
chmod +x ti-processor-sdk-linux-automotive-dra7xx-evm-6.00.00.03-installer.bin
./ti-processor-sdk-linux-automotive-dra7xx-evm-6.00.00.03-installer.bin --mode unattended --prefix `pwd`
#Export proxy
./bin/setup-repo.sh
./bin/fetch-sources.sh
./bin/setup-yocto.sh
cd yocto-layers
./build-core-sdk.sh dra7xx-evm

I suggest that you try this with the Ubuntu 18.04 and lets continue to debug if you have issues.
