CCSv4.2 program mode compilation problem

Dear all,

I'm developing an application on 674x DSP platform. I'm using code composer studio 4.2. My code compiles fine without "program mode compilation" option enabled. But when I turn on the "program mode compilation" -pm option for optimization, the code doesn't compile anymore. I noticed that -pm option works if I provide a single file. When I add folders to the project the code doesn't compile anymore. Can anyone help me with this issue.

What is the exact error message you get?

i didn't get any error message. It does the cleanup and just exit the compilation.

Asif,

We may need your project and source files to duplicate this issue, but before we do that, can you copy and paste the entire contents of the build console to a file and attach it here( please send the build console outputs for the case without the -pm option and with the -pm option)?

Hi,

I'm afraid, I can't share the project. I found that the project compiles with -pm option when I add all the files in the same project folder. But if I create folders in project and add files/paths it doesn't compile with -pm. It works fine without pm. It is a wired issue.
