Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LC4357, UNIFLASH
If I select my part: "TMS570LC4357",
then the drop down list only has "Other microcontrollers forum" as an option.
If I want to put a question in this forum, I have to remove the part number.

Hello,
The forum support model have been changed recently. All issues (including issues related to host tools like CCS) should first go to the device forum. From there, the device experts will review the question to see if it is a CCS (or UniFlash, GC, etc) specific issue that needs to be escalated to the CCS team.
Hence you should post in the Hercules forum, even if seems mostly a CCS specific question.
Thanks

Hello Ulf,
When designating the part number, the request is routed to the correct Product Group to provide a response. What part number did you designate in your post?
Regards,
~Leonard
Hi Ulf,
As previously mentioned, entering the part number will ensure the post is routed to the correct Product Group, regardless of the Forum designation.

~Leonard
Why is "other Microcontroller" the right group for a
"Hercules Safety Microcontroller" and not the
"Hercules Safety Microcontroller" Forum?
I think this is a simple mistake in the setup.
Even if it is routed to the right product group, it means that users will not find Hercules related questions, if they are in the wrong forum
Hello Ulf,
I understand your suggestion and reasoning, and certainly appreciate your feedback. Thanks for taking the time to raise the issue. I will ensure the team that produces the routing selection for E2E Forums is aware of your concerns.
Thanks again for your input.
