CCSTUDIO: CCS "Debug Configuration" Sharing

I am using CCS8.2 for development.

We are currently using TortoiseSVN to share sources with our team.
When creating the latest environment, start the checked out environment with CCS and
I created it in my environment by selecting [Project]-> [Import CCS Projects...].
The metadata is not shared.

In the above procedure, the "Debug Configuration" setting is a personal setting and is not shared.
Since setting up multiple projects is difficult, is there a way to share the "Debug Configuration" between teams?

Hi Bin.

It is used for the development of Microcontroller "TMS320F28375D".
There are two types of JTAG used.
-Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Debug Probe
-Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB Debug Probe

When you mention setting up the debug configuration, are you referencing the target configuration file? You will need to create separate target configuration files for the different debuggers used by the team. Then each user will select a target config and set it as active before debugging.

Hi Ozino.　Sorry for being late.

What I want to share with my team using SVN is Debug Configuration, not Target Configuration.

I already share the Target Configuration,
Debug Configuration cannot be shared.

After checking out from SVN, importing and Target is automatically based on the settings, but Debug Configuration needs to be reconfigured every time.

I hope I can share this because not everyone knows the detailed settings.

Gouki,

Would each team member has the project file in the same location? The reason I ask is that the debug configuration (.launch) file has an absolute path to the .out file. If the team members are all checking out the files to the same path then it should be ok to share the .launch

The debug configurations are saved in a .launches folder and have a .launch extension

However they have an absolute path to the .out:

By changing the absolute path of the file you provided,
It seems that the address can be taken over in another environment.

We will use it by creating a batch and changing the contents.

Gouki,

We will look into replacing that absolute path in the future. Today if a user specfiies the path using a variable we store the absolute path. Instead we could store the variable (typically project location) then the file would be more sharable.
