What is the software that generated the Gerber files?

Is there any possibility to import Gerber files of tida 00951 in OrCad PCB Designer? it looks like Gerber files need to be of .art extension so they can be imported in OrCad PCB Designer. is that correct?

It's designed by altium designer. but, I think the Gerber files may be able imported by Orcad.

Thank you for your reply. I could not import them into Orcad. Moreover, I tried to view them in the software of the printing machine and I managed to view the top and bottom layers, unfortunately, the drill file is only showing one drill point when opened. Is there any possible justification for this?

Hi,

You could change to altium designer, create CAM file and do import and then view it.

When I import it in the software of the PCB printing machine, it only shows one drill point. I tried this for both tida00951 and tida01159. Do you have any idea?

Dear Desheng, Guo,

Following my previous reply, I realized that the Drill file (found in the zip file of Gerber for tida00951) is a drill report file. Is this only a report or it is the drill file that shows the drill points? if not, where should I find the actual drill file?

Hi,

You need to import all the layer files to your CAM, not the drill file only. (it is one file for each layer) Such as, .gtl .gbl .gto .gbo and etc.

for the drill hole, factory generally use the hole file with .txt format.
