Hi,

I created the schematic in the reference design using different chips which is MAX3079. But when the float comes, the voltage value at the repeater output is in the undefined section. For this, I lowered the terminal resistors, but at that time the first repeater is working but the repeater on the second card is not working.Is it because the design in the reference is specific to your chip only or am I doing some other mistake. Can you help with this?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Since the reference design has only been tested with ISO3082, I can only say that it works fine for ISO3082. I would not be able to comment on whether MAX3079 would work fine or not. In case if you happen to test ISO3082 and have any questions related to them, please do let us know. Thanks.

Hi Koteshwar,

As you said, I tested with ISO3082 but faced the same problem. When the float comes, the output is lower than the expected value. What could be the reason for this?

1. Provide the schematic that you created.

2. Test sequence that you observed the issue.

3. Waveforms that show the voltages at D1, the output, and DE during the test

4. Waveforms that show the voltages at D2, the output, and DE during the test
