Good day.

Can TIDA-01423 be use for Vehicle Control Unit application? In addition, our customer have the following inquiries.

1) Is this product compliant to be used for buses?
2) How many CAN line interfaces are present on this product?

3) What are the safety levels (ASIL, ISO 26262 etc.) for this product?

4) Is this product specifically developed for the ICE-hybrid vehicles, or it can be also used for the Fuel-Cell vehicles and the EV´s?

Hi Art,

TIDA-01423 is an inverting buck-boost reference design using TPS62136. There is no mention of CAN line interfaces or buses or automotives, etc. Please check https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tiducy3/tiducy3.pdf for further details. What are your design requirements - Vin range, Vout, Iout, Ta? Does the device have to be automotive qualified? Please let us know the details of the application so we can recommend the right part.
