Pspice for TI： Noise analysis error

Hello，

About 《PSpice4TI_Training Labs》 Running Noise Analysis。

The following error message appears in the simulation, indicating that there is no 2N2222 for this device (see Noise cannot run 1.png ), and when I add this component from Cadence 17.4 via nom.lib, It also prompts you to add at least one probe to run (see NOISE cannot run 2.png) and there is no NFIB(Q1) in the trace marquee NRB(Q1), NRC(Q1), NRE(Q1), NSIB(Q1), NSIC(Q1) option. If you fill in the . directly, you will also get an error.

No. It looks like using a non-TI model in noise analysis is not possible in PSPice for TI. We are working with the R&D team to find a solution.

Hi Kailyn,

Yes. We've confirmed that this feature is indeed not available in PSpice for TI. The user is advised to use the full version (SPB) when 3rd party model is involved. I'll update this post if we are able to provide a solution.
