Hi team,
For TI motor drives, could you help recommend a brushless motor drive which can meets the following requirements: 2-A current, square wave, sensorless, Over 24-V tolerance and can be applicated on the sweeper.
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Cherry

Hello Cherry,
Thank you for posting to the MD forum. Can you explain what the customer means by square wave? Are they looking for a single PWM input? and is this application 2A peak or 2A continuous current? Are they looking into using FOC or Trapezoidal control?
Based on what I have so far I believe that MCT8316A or MCF8316A would be a good fit. Both are 8-A sensorless, with integrated FETs. What differs between the two is that MCF8316A offers built in FOC control and the MCT8316A offers trapezoidal control. They can be operated with a single input PWM signal or an analog voltage. Any additional info could help me make a better suggestion. I hope this helps!
Best,
Isaac
