Programming the DRV91680

Hello TI,

I'm trying to program a DRV91680 using an MSP FET flash emulation tool through UniFlash, but I have having trouble establishing a connection. I have no idea why it's not even registering a connection to the device. I am basically stumped and would appreciate any help on the matter.

Can you share the error message received when you try to connect the tool.

Hi Prajkta,

I get "Error connecting to the target: Unknown Device"

I probed the data/clk pins and they do send a message to the device, but it isn't responding at all.

Hi Andy,

The DRV91680 is only supported with the MSP-FET430UIF, MSP-Gang, and the Flash-Pro-430 (by Elprotronics), and they all require using different software GUIs than UniFlash. The newer MSP-FET tool is not compatible with the DRV9x device family.

Since DRV91690 is a custom component not actively promoted on ti.com, I will connect with you privately for additional support.
