PMP8740: PMP8740 CAN bus communication

At the time I developed the PMP8740 we didn't have CAN bus controllers, so I actually added to my board a serial communication (UART, proprietary) by translating the digital levels into CAN hardware, by means of SN65HVD256. That means it is not a standard CAN communication, but uses its hardware levels.

Nowadays we have both microcontroller with embedded CAN communication (for example the TMS320F28384D, see link:https://www.ti.com/product/TMS320F28384D-Q1), or external CAN controller, interfaced by means of SPI (TCAN4551-Q1, link: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tcan4551-q1.pdf?ts=1643101981569&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fsitesearch%252Fdocs%252Funiversalsearch.tsp%253FlangPref%253Den-US%2526searchTerm%253Dcan%2Bcontroller%2526nr%253D359063).
