TIDA-010054: Equation help!

Part Number: TIDA-010054

For the design guide of TIDA-010054, equation 18 and 19 seemed to be incorrect.

For equation 18, the value of Ø seemed to be incorrect.

The values that I used:

N = 1.6

Vin = 800V

Vout = 500V

Fsw = 100kHz

Pout = 10kW

Can anybody advice on the calculations of 36uH.

Thanks for your question. Actually, the 36uH was calculated based on the input of ~0.24 rad phase shift. The equation is correct.

Hello,

Sorry, I missed out one thing. The N in the equation should be n, which is 0.625. And the calculated leakage inductance is 30 uH with 0.4 rad as phase shift. Sorry again for the mistake in the design guide.

Hi Lei,

What about equation 19? Using 0.4 rad as phase shift I am also unable to get the value of 22A for the peak current.
