PSPICE for TI install problem

Hello,

I am having trouble successfully installing PSPICE on my system. I am getting the following error. A snippet of the file is below . Please let me know how to proceed.

  • Hi Jason,

    Please ask your IT team to temporarily disable "Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing and signing",then install PSpice for TI and get it enabled again.

  • BTW, here are the steps. You may be able to do that yourself depending on company policy:

    1. Open Windows Control Panel > Administrative tools > Local Security Policy
    2. On the left hand side column, select Local Policies > Security Options
    3. On the right hand side column, select System Cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing and signing.
      Double click on this and set it to disabled if it is enabled. (Screenshot attached)
    4. Restart the machine and perform installation again.
