Dear sir,

we are working pmp8740 reference design. But our output voltage 48/40amps.resistive load was verified in full load condition ok.How to charge the battery. Please suggest the algorithm.

our battery capacity:5.1kwh,

max voltage:58

charging current:30 amps

chemistry: li-ion

voltage loop and current loop(1khz PWM) was tested with resistive load.

Dear Ramar,

The charging algorithm can be simple or complex according to the chemistry. For Li-Ion it's relatively simple, very close to what a bench power supply is delivering (constant voltage generator, current limited).
