TIDA-01063: How to calculate and varify the bandwidth of the rogowski coil

Hi, hope this finds you well. From the datasheet of the TIDA-01063, the bandwidth of the rogowski coil is up to 20MHz, but the amplifier the system used INA188 only has 0.6 MHz, how can it be 20MHz overall the system? Could you please explain how did you calculate it and validate it? Thank you so much.

Hi Xia,

The 20MHz bandwidth was determined by using a vector signal analyzer set to S11 for the coefficient of the input voltage reflection. The frequency where you see the first dip in gain margin is the resonant frequency and this is for the Rogowski coil itself. The required bandwidth should be much less for the sensor board that connects to the Rogowski coil. I hope this helps!
