LM74502: running slow and failed to converge

Dear all,

I am trying to use the LM74502 transcient model found on TI. I did the wiring as typical use is described in the datasheet.
However, it is really slow to run, and after a while, I get an error message which indicates a failure to converge.

Could you help me with this ?

Hi Paul,

Kindly leave the NC pin floating, by changing the properties of the model in the model editor. If it still fails to converge, use the startup bench provided in the model files and make changes to it as desired. Please feel free to reach out to me if any help is needed.

Hi Divyanshu,

I checked the simulation setup you sent me, what I came up with is that enable should not be in high-state at the simulation start, but delayed.

Below you will find a schematic inspired by what you sent, that works with a back to back mosfet design (in case anyone has the same issue)
