PSPICE-FOR-TI: PSPICE for TI Upgrade

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Hi Team,

Our query is in reference to the original thread with the response: "As the sim runs on the full version of Pspice, the model file itself should be okay. It has something to do with the Pspice for TI settings. As it's a free version, it only allows max of three measurement at same time."

One of our customer is currently considering to purchase the full version. They clicked on the button in the home page of PSPICE for TI (see attached image) and got into contact with a OrCad agent from their region and got an offer of the full version.

But before proceeding with the purchase, our customer would like to ask how can they synergize the PSPICE for TI and the full version? Do we have a step by step guide in synergizing the 2 programs so they can use PSpice for TI in the full version mode? Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hi Jejomar,

Not sure what do you mean by "synergizing". PSpice is based on the full version of Cadence SPB, trimmed most stuff except the schematic capture and the simulation engine. There's no full version mode of PSpice for TI.

However, you can continue using the TI model library that comes with PSpice for TI in SPB.

    Regards,
