TIDA-070002: Magnetic Feedback Circuitry

Part Number: TIDA-070002
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UC1901, , UC1843A

Hi,

I'm interested in UC1901, I saw TIDA-070002. Thank for this design note!

Q1) For the primary side of magnetic feedback, there is offset network with R20 and R29. What is the purpose of this? The UC1843A has internal 2.5V reference connected to NI of error amplifier. Is it because of that?

Q2) What if the the pin 8 of T2 referenced to the primary ground by still having envelope dedector RC? Doesn't the feedback work fine?

Q3) How do you obtain envelope dedector? Is it via C49,R20 and R29,C48?

Q4) What is the purpose of C49 and is it really necessary?

Q5) Could you please show DriverA to DriverB waveforms? How does this system energise transformer?

Q6) Do I really need R23 if I don't want to measure bode plot?

Q7) What is the duty cycle of secondary side of T2?

Can I purchase TIDA-070002? There is no link.

Thank you in advance.
