we are designing 10Gbps PoE PSE Injector, so we have a RJ45 data in connector and we want to protect this port.
Q1)
Would you recommend the same protection ( TCS-DL004-250-WH current protector + Bidirectional ESD diode CDSOD323-T05C) for 10Gbps as on TIDA-01411 between RJ45 data connector and PoE magnetics ?
Or is it better to use TPD1E01B04 or TPD4E02B04 in combination with TCS-DL004-250-WH for 10Gbps?
or the 5.5V version ESD401 or TPD4E1B06?
I was going all of you PSE EVM kits like BOOST-PSEMTHR-007 and non has a protection between data port connector and magnetics, please see picture below.
What would you recommend to protect this port? Or this port doesn't need protection because from HOST side there are magnetics and on PSE injector data port there are also magnetics?
Q2) on BOOST-PSEMTHR-007 the MDCT pins are no connect why is that so? don't they need decoupling caps? ( Pin 12,6,1,7)
