Pspice for TI

Hello,

I was trying to import BC847 transistor into my circuit in  Pspice for TI simulation tool. However it seems that there aren't any transistor libraries installed, only general NPN and PNP models.

I can only import specific transistor library as a third part component or is there a way to import a whole library which includes many specific part numbers of transistors as Cadense-Pspice used to have (see image)?

Thank you in advance.

  • Hi Kristaki,

Unfortunately, you can only import models one-at-a-time for PSpice for TI. It comes with all the TI models automatically installed, but no additional models. If you have the commercial version of PSpice Orcad, which has other models included, you can import the entire TI library there instead.

In Orcad Capture, open the PSpice Part Search:

Click "Add models" in the top right. You need to update to a more recent version of Orcad if you do not see "Add models."

Toggle the Status switch. Your switch will say Pending. Now restart Capture, and it will load all the PSpice for TI libraries.

    Thank you,

    Jackie
