TIDA-00287: USB 3.0 (or 3.1 gen1) hub design, but with 3.0A current support

Part Number: TIDA-00287
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HD3SS3220, 3220UFP-DGLEVM

Hi,

We are trying to find the reference design to build our own USB-c input, USB 3.0 two output port hub.

The closest thing that we can find is TIDA-00287(https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00287)

However, due to the power requirement(3A vs 900mA), we cannot use this design as is.

Is it possible to modify the design on our side somehow, so that it can use the maximum power that USB-c draw?

(e.g. without PD 5V 3A)

What we want is the hub with one usb-c input and one USB 3.0 port output and one USB 2.0 port output.

Some of the input wattage will be used for other LEDs and ICs. The maximum power usage will be 15W (5v 3A).

In this design requirement, where should we start from?
