Hi,

We are designing power supply using TIDA-010015 reference design.

We are using LLC IC :- UCC256402A & PFC IC:- UCC28064A.

We are facing issue in PFC section (LLC Section isolated totally).

At 0.42 Amp (163Watts) at PFC output 390VDC applied.

Mosfet Q12 gets damage (Drain and source shorted)

Please provide solution.

Thanks selected TI parts.

Are you testing with loading on LLC output, or loading on PFC output directly?

Can you put on more infomation, better to have some waveforms.

Hi Desheng,

Loading on PFC output. LLC totally bypassed.

Below some waveforms of Q12 as per TIDA-010015 Schematic

Below waveform at Input 230VAC and output 390VDC * 0.42Amp at this time mosfet Q12 damaged.

Also observed below 150VAC and above 230VAC Input current and input power continuous fluctuating when load applied.

Hi Vivek,

So far as I know, there is some problem with the pre charge circuits, which may introduce problem during startup.

Can you short the inrush MOSFET when your testing?
