PMP15034: Differences of audio effect between 28V Driver and ±15V Driver

Hi team,

I find that PMP15034 has two kinds of driver, 28V Driver and ±15V Driver. And I find the differences of waveforms in test report, but it doesn't mention the different audio effect of two drivers.

Can you explain the different audio effect of two drivers for me?

Hi Lillian,

The two drivers are two options for your design.

The circuits are different but with little different audio effect.

Hi Lillian and Fergus,

There is a slight difference where the +/- 15 driver has a faster turn-off than the 28 V driver. In the test report this can be seen with figures 6 and 8, which correspond to the single NPN and totem pole respectively.
