We are working on the pmp8740 reference design. But our output voltage is 65V/30amps. How to modify the hardware and software. thank you!

Our battery capacity: 5.1kwh,

Maximum voltage: 65V

    Hello,

    I used the UCC28950 excel calc-sheet (SLUC222D) for my calculations of the power stage; you can download this file here:

    Since the output voltage will be ~ double compared to my case, you will need a different transformer turns ratio, adapt the output capacitor voltage rating, and the voltage rating of the sync-rectification MOSFETs. The rest of the converter should stay pretty much unmodified.

    Regarding software change, if you adapt the resistor divider that brings Vout to the microcontroller, there will be no modification to it. Of course, you will change the text in all menus, but this something simple.

    Charging profile: in my design the charging profile is open and not defined. I defined instead all possible charging voltage thresholds and current level, in order to support Lead-Acid, Gel and Li-Ion batteries.
