Part Number: TIDA-010042

Hi. I am currently simulating the TIDA-010042 hardware portion in PSpice to validate its use in our use case. For the time being I am giving the pulses to the mosfets directly with VPULSE source (without using gate driver and microcontroller) to see the output variation with the duty cycle and the input voltage but constantly getting convergence error. Can you suggest how to resolve these kind of issues and guide if PSpice is correct platform and the above mentioned procedure is appropriate or not.

    Hi Biswarupa,

    Unfortunately we did not simulate this design in PSpice so I have no experience on how to resolve the convergence errors.

    If the TI model itself is causing the issues you could try asking in the device specific form since my colleagues there are responsible for the Models we provide.

    In general it should not be a problem to generate the Gate signal with a pulse source.
