Hi Chris,
I'm glad to support this issue.
at first you can download the Altium designer file at TIDA-00917:
Then pls follow AD user guide: Exporting a Design to OrCAD from Altium Designer to get brd, opj, dsn
if you have further question, pls let me know.
Have a nice day.
Eason
PS: please note that TI cannot assume liability for the conversion and it’s the customers responsibility to
validate the schematic and PCB are correct.
The issue is that I do "NOT" have Altium so I cannot complete the suggested steps. Let me be very clear so we don't delay this further. The design files "MUST" be saved as ASCII files in "Altium"! Only then can the design be imported into Orcad/Cadence. The standard Altium design files CANNOT be imported into Orcad/Cadence. I need to import these into Orcad for use.
Hi Chris,
understood, I saved the AD file as ASCII form, you can download through this: Link
Hope it's helpful
Thanks
Eason
