Hi,

In section 4.2.8, how the second part of the power loss (0.5*fsw*Vout*Qrr) is derived.

I understand it is due to Qrr, how exactly is the equation derived. Could you please explain.

Sorry, it is not clear. How to calculate loss due to reverse recovery, that involves Qrr.
