TPS54291 Schematic View

Why can't I see the schematic when I can view the BOM and links to data sheets of components by passing mouse pointer over place where schematic components should be etc???

  • Hello Dennis,

Can you please explain some more? When you mouse over schematic components, does the schematic disappear? Is this happening in online version or desktop or both?

    Thanks,

    Hetal

  • Hello Hetal,
I entered all the design parameters and ran the program. When selecting the schematic tab, the area where the schematic should be was blank (gray) and there was a note with a red x up in the upper left corner of the note boundary that said something about changing values that were red text and not being able to change values that were black. When I moused over the gray area where the schematic should be I could see various components light up under the mouse, i.e. capacitors, inductors etc. I selected other tables like stress, BOM etc. and the gray area filled with appropriate tables that I could transfer to Excel. So, it would appear that the only thing I am missing is a visible schematic! I am using the online version only.
Thanks for getting back to me.

  • Hello Dennis,

I have verified this behavior.  It is an issue and we will be fixing it in an upcoming release.
