Are there any plans to include TPS24700 / TPS2410 controller as a component in Tina simulator.

I have an application where the TPS24xx is on a plugin cards (Dual redundant supply) & the load (5V Logic cpu cards & downstream 35V DC-DC converter cards) is a several meters of cable & significant load capacitance.

It would be nice to simulate this circuit & compare to real world observations.

There is a TPS24700 spice model listed on "Simulation Models released in May 2011", but I think it would take significant effort maybe for me to get this into Tina ?.

OK,

I made a new graphic component in Tina-TI & with the macromodel wizard opening the tps24700_trans.lib file is ok till I clik on next & get error at show in attached image

Q1. Is this because it is "encripted lib" ?

Q2 There are lots of subckts in this file ase well, not sure what to do with these...

Any help would be very much apreciated...

Toni,

Although TINA-TI is compatible with PSPICE, you will not be able to import the "Encrypted" PSPICE model into this tool. We do plan to make a TINA-TI model for TPS24700 and it should be available in the product folder in a few days. Please check back later.
