Hi,

We found this PFC Boost 6.6kW eval board in TI website, and we are intending to use it as the proof-of-concept of a product in McLaren Automotive. We need more information about the board such as: overall weight, heatsink weight, and EMI filter design. Can you please provide this information for us.

and one other question: In the datasheet, in "applications" section, it has been written: "HEV/EV traction inverter", Does it mean the board can be used in inverter operation as well? Because if the input is placed on the MOSFET sides, the circuit is basically an inverter with inductors in the output side.

Hi Javad,

The heatsink is designed by qats.com. We don't have EMI filer design files.

Hi Javad,

Yes, the PFC could operate in inverter mode. TIDM-02008 includes the software on how to run it in inverter mode
