PSPICE-FOR-TI: PSpice for TI has crashed and quit unexpectedly

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI

Hello,

The following message appears and is unavailable.
What should I do?

  • Hi, please try open or create another project to see if you have the same problem. If you have trouble with every project you have created, please try the following:

    1. Close PSpice and other Cadence tools which are running.
    2. Open Task Manager and make sure that none of the below processes are running. If they are running, end them manually.
      1. MrKSrvr.exe
      2. PSpiceExplorerSrvr.exe
      3. Simmgr.exe
      4. SimSrvr.exe
      5. Pspice.exe
      6. Capture.exe
    3. Now restart the machine and rename folder OrCAD_CaptureTIPSpice_Install present at <%CDS_HOME%>\cdssetup to OrCAD_CaptureTIPSpice_Install_OLD and OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install to OrCAD_PSpiceTIPSpice_Install_OLD.
    4. Now, in start menu type regedit and click on registry editor to open it. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Orcad\ and delete the CaptureTIPSpice_Install folder.
    5. Open the project you had problem with and try running a simulation to see if the issue goes away.

    Thanks!
