Wrong output from TINA DC simulation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

I used TINA to build a composite op amp structure, but there are some problems with the DC simulation results, when I use 4.9V and 5.1V differential inputs, the output composite is expected, but when using 5V, the output results are very confusing. Looking forward to your reply, thank you!

  • Hello Yue,

Thank you for your inquiry about TINA.  Since TINA is a DesignSoft/TINA program, questions are handled by using the DesignSoft support page: http://www.tina.com/technical-support/  .

The DesignSoft/TINA team is very helpful and this is the most direct way for TINA support.  Please advise by Reply when the issue has been resolved.

  • Hi Leonard,

Thank you. I have asked the question according to the method you said, but the TINA-TI I use is a free version, so I don't know if I can get a reply. I found a solution is to set the DC absolute current error to 100p, I can understand that it may be a convergence problem, but I don't know why it is only 5V.

    Best regards,

    Yue
