PMP40766: Why there is a separate separate switch connected in series at output side of Boost PFC converter

Yes sir, for input side current rush NTC and Relay is there, that why this doubt came to me.

I understand that if any voltage at output side(DC voltage) connected directly this will provide safety(avoid inrush)
