Hello, in the document (Application Report SLTA055–FEBRUARY 2006) is calculated ΔIOUT - transient output current (page 5 and 6 - Figure 3).

How is this current estimated?

    Hello Fernando, 

    Delta IOUT is the change in the out current, let say you load is changing from 2A to 3A, then the delta is 1A. by knowing the efficiency of the device the VIN VOT test condition you calculate the change of the input current accordingly. 

    there is an example i page 6 that walks thru that calculations
