Hi Team,

May I check with you how many HW/SW breakpoints are allowed for XDS110 and XDS200? Besides the breakpoints, what other limitations of XDS110 compared to XDS200?

Hello Ernest,

The number of available HW breakpoints is determined by the device, not the debug probe. As for SW breakpoints, there is (theoretically) an unlimited number of software breakpoints since it is simply an opcode replacement managed by the debugger.

I forgot to mention that one key difference between the two is EnergyTrace (which is supported by XDS110 and not XDS200). If the device you will be working with does not support EnergyTrace, then it is a moot point.
