Hello,

the WEBENCH Power designer I use online is quite different as I saw it during the training video from TI.

In the trainning video, the WEBENCH power designer seems much more powerful than I use online.

There are also many addition function quite useful.

Could you tell me how can I get the software with the similar functions as the one on the left?

Hi Xiyao Zhao,

WEBENCH tool used in the training video is the old Adobe Flash based WEBENCH tool. Due to end of support for Adobe Flash technology and security concerns TI decided to discontinue all Adobe Flash based design tools.

We had to prioritize most used / key features when developing the new WEBENCH tool as a replacement.

Most of the basic features supported by WEBENCH input EMI filter design in old flash based tool is available in new tool.

Following are the steps to be followed to use WEBENCH input EMI filter design.

Step 1: Click on below link and add your input conditions. After adding your inputs, click on view designs to get possible solutions.

Step 2: Select the preferred design from the list and click on "Customize".

The old WEBENCH design tool developed in Adobe Flash platform is sunset and replaced by the new WEBENCH Power Designer. Please go through this training material to get familiar with the new WEBENCH tool - WEBENCH® Power Designer | TI.com .

The new WEBENCH design tool supports most of the key features available in the older Adobe Flash version, including designing Input EMI filter as pointed out by Umayal. Some of the lesser used features were deprecated and no longer supported in the new tool.
