TIDA-01606: TIDA-01606 project issue

Part Number: TIDA-01606

Hi team,

1) With regard to the relay on the power board, in this project a resistor is placed in parallel on all four relays, what is the purpose of this resistor being placed in parallel? When this resistor is connected in parallel, the relay is equivalent to not functioning, as the inverting side and the net side are connected together through this resistor even if it is not commanded to engage.

2) In the lab section in the reference design document and silkscreen on the power board, J33 is connected to the 15-V auxiliary power supply, but in the PCB doc, the 24-V power supply is connected. And this section is connected to the drive board. The 24-V power supply on the driver board goes through the UCC14240DWNQ1 DC/DC converter chip to get 15 V and –4 V. If J33 is connected to 15 V, it is clearly not within the UCC14240DWNQ1 input voltage range, right?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry
