TIDA-020047: TIDA-020047 board setup

Part Number: TIDA-020047
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM2732

Hello

  1. Could you please help me to start with this new board TIDA-020047. I am working to set-up my new board and loading my first example so could you please list the different steps to configure this board (xds110 bin to be downloaded, bootloader, sop pins...)

Regards

Amine

  • Hi Amine,

The bootloader should already be on the board.  When you connect via USB to a PC, it should enumerate on the bus.

For the SoC (AM2732) SOP settings, please see sheet 5 of the schematic.  To write to the FLASH, set SOP2  high.  Once programmed, change SOP2 to low.  If you are wanting to emulate, through the XDS110, set SOP1 low for XDS110 boot.

    Best Regards,

    Brian

  • Hi Brian

    Thank you for answering

You know for the first time , I should load something in the Tm4c component (xds binary). Am I right?

Unfortunately By setting only the sop2 to high position I don't get anything on terminal and I can't load any thing in Am2732.am I missing something?

I checked the Pmic outputs and all is right (by shorting the Pmic Gpio2 to the gnd).

Please any help to guide me. Do you have any documentation for tida020047. Like getting started?

    Regards

  • Hi Amine,

At this time, the only documentation for this design is located here: TIDA-020047

    Best Regards,
