So its running, now is the card programmed?

If yes, i should see a PWM on PIN 49. ( i ma trying to run in open loop). So it should be working even without other signals?

Now i see nothing on the oscilloscope ( i am sure the scope is not the problem here).

Hi Vincent,

In the first screenshot in the debug box select the C28xx CPU instead of the CLA. Then you should be able to step through the code to understand the sequence of operations in the code flow. The PWM will be in the trip state by default, you need to release the trip by changing the variable "DAB_clearTrip" to 1 and then the PWM will start switching. You can check if the card is programmed by opening the memory browser and checking the flash locations where the code is programmed.

Yes i have PWM waveforms now, but the phase shift is not what i expected.

Do you know where i can find the phase shift calculus for the open loop mode? I have (11.5 degree instead of 8.7 degree)

I am using 40V Vprim, 40V Vsec, 40V Vsec_ref and 1A Isec_ref.

Hi Vincent,

This is done in ISR1 -> DAB_runISR1. The function DAB_calculatePWMDutyPeriodPhaseShiftTicks is used to calculate the phase value to be loaded into TBPHS register and the function DAB_HAL_updatePWMDutyPeriodPhaseShift is used to load the value.

I managed to change the PhaseShift, it was only a fixed value "DAB_pwmPhaseShiftPrimSec_pu".

But now i need to find (in the code) where is the "PWM_enable" on pin 58?

Because, now i am testing on the PCB and i need to set PWM_EN high.

Hi Vincent,

Pin 58 on the HSEC connector is either connected to MCU GPIO37 or GPIO8 based on the configurations of the switches S3 and S4. GPIO37 is used to support TDO functionality of on-board debugger of the control card and is not available.

Current solution does not have PWM_EN signal implemented in code. You can either route GPIO8 to HSEC pin58 and drive a logic 1 in code or you can make a hardware modification on the board as suggested in the solution user guide.
