Tina TI download error

Hi Abigail,

I just downloaded and installed TINA-TI. Yes, the download file is named Tina-TI90-ITIen. I had no issues. This seems like an access problem on your computer. 

Can you confirm the pathway for installation? e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\DesignSoft\Tina 9 - TI

My DesignSoft was from 2020, but this install of Tina 9 -TI is from today.

I just tried again and it appears that it tries to install to that same path of C:\Program Files (x86)\DesignSoft\Tina 9 - TI, but I do not have a DesignSoft folder, is this a separate download I need to first complete? If so, how would I proceed? 

THe download should create that folder. Perhaps manually create it (make sure it has correct permissions for R/W/D) and try again. The download program hasn't changed, so I'm not sure what's going on there.

I just tried to create the folder manually, but it looks like I'm running into admin issues on my computer. It was the requested operation requires elevation to be completed when I try to enter my credentials. I will work on getting this access, however, how would I be able to ensure the folder has permissions for R/W/D?

I'm not sure the that permissions need to be there, but since the .exe needs to write files, I made that assumption.

I think we've identified the problem though. Please let me know if there are any problems once you have access. Even though TINA-TI is an older version, I find it easy to use. Sometimes simpler is better.
