PSPICE-FOR-TI: Optocoupler library

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISOM8110, ISOM8710

Hello there,

I'm using Pspice for converter simulation, as a part of the design a optocoupler is needed for the isolated feedback. I couldn't find any library belongs with optocoupler and also Centre tapped models. How can I add these components (mentioned in the below site) to the Pspice?

  • Hi Jishnu,

Those parts are only available in the full commercial version of PSpice (SPB).

Can you download models into PSpice for TI, but if they are transistor based models, you will be limited to 3 markers (voltage or current).

Now for a shameless plug for TI. We've just released opto-emulators. ISOM8710/8711 and ISOM8110. These have PSpice models, so you should be able to use these in your design. Currently, the model is only available in the product folder and doesn't include .olb.

    Regards,

    David
